Heather is AST’s Clinical Director for the San Diego area. She was introduced to the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. There, she was a research assistant in one of the doctoral students labs, took courses in ABA, and had the opportunity to apply these concepts by working as a line therapist with children diagnosed with autism. After graduating, Heather moved to Southern California and completed her master’s degree in applied behavior analysis at the Chicago School-LA. Heather began her career with AST as a behavior interventionist in 2008 and held the positions of Advanced Behavior Interventionist, Supervising Behavior Interventionist, Program Manager/Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Manager, before becoming a Clinical Director.
