Stephanie M. Peterson, Ph.D., is Professor Psychology and Chair of the Department of Psychology at Western Michigan University.  She earned her doctorate in Special Education at The University of Iowa in 1994.  Previously, she taught at Gonzaga University, Utah State University, The Ohio State University, and Idaho State University. 

Dr. Becky Eldridge, BCBA-D, is the Clinical Director of WMU’s Kalamazoo Autism Center.  She obtained her master’s degree from the University of Chicago focusing on disability studies, and her Ph.D. in behavior analysis from Western Michigan University, under the supervision of Dr. Stephanie Peterson.  She has worked in homes, clinics, and school settings with professionals and parents from diverse backgrounds to implement effective interventions for children and young adults with autism and other developmental disorders.

How Autism Drives Human Invention with Simon Baron-Cohen

Simon Baron-Cohen is a Professor in the Departments of Psychology and Psychiatry University of Cambridge and Fellow at Trinity College, Cambridge. Tyra P. Sellers, JD, PhD, BCBA-D is the Director of Ethics at the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Linda A. She established LeBlanc Behavioral Consulting in 2017 and consults to technology companies, universities, and behavior analytic human service organizations. Using Accessible Language When Educating Parents with Dr. Albert Knapp

Albert Knapp, PsyD, BCBA-D, RPT-S, received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Argosy University, Orange County. He is a Clinical Psychologist in California, a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral, and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. Dr. Knapp completed his doctoral research on studying the effect of autism spectrum disorders on parental stress, anxiety, and coping. He has presented his research findings at multiple professional conferences. Dr. Knapp has taught graduate-level applied behavior analysis classes at National University, the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and Pepperdine University. V. Mark Durand is a Distinguished University Professor of psychology at the USF St. Petersburg. Dr. Durand has more than 135 publications. Durand’s research includes the assessment and treatment of severe behavior problems for children and adults with ASD and other disabilities, parent training and the development of treatments for child sleep problems. Most recently he developed a new approach to help families work with their challenging children (optimistic parenting). He and his colleague developed a treatment for problem behaviors (functional communication training – FCT) that is used around the world. He was named a 2014 Princeton Lecture Series Fellow from the (APA).
