In-Home ABA Therapy
Creating goals with your family in mind
Convenient ABA Therapy Treatment at Home
Our Home and Community Services help your child get personalized attention to reach their goals.
Our behavior technicians (BTs) offer individual help at home or in the community. They meet with your child for a set number of hours every week. Your BT will work closely with you and your family to create a program that is tailored to your specific needs. By focusing on skills and objectives that are important to you, you can be sure that our services provide the best care possible. The goal is to help your child develop the skills necessary for a successful and happy life.
At Home
From the moment we start treatment, we serve as your teammate.
Our sessions at home help kids develop skills that are part of their daily routines. A board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) will learn how your family functions. During this time, you can share any goals that you have for your child’s development. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan based on what works for your family. We’ll break down goals for your child into small, achievable tasks. A highly trained behavior technician (BT) will work under the guidance of the BCBA to help your child. Your family gets convenient care in the comfort of your own home.
We have goals that are important for everyday life, like grooming, using the bathroom, and eating healthy. At home, ABA therapy is comfortable and familiar for your child.
We’re here to provide the right tools, training, and ongoing support to make that possible.
In the Community
Real life doesn’t just happen inside four walls. When you and your child are ready for the next step in therapy, we can have sessions in the community.
No two children with autism are the same, so the skills and pace will be unique to your child’s situation. Going out into the community lets kids use the social skills they learned at home. They can practice these skills in a public place.
A BT can help your child practice everyday activities like going to the library or park. Children can learn many important skills, like choosing a book at the library or ordering at a restaurant. They can also learn safety rules for crossing streets.
At WEAP, we focus on functional skills your child can practice and master to help make community outings a success. We’ll practice social awareness, physical awareness, and safety. We’ll tailor activities to support your unique family values and lifestyle. These skills will also build your child’s sense of self-confidence and self-awareness.
As a parent, you may be eager to help your child develop practical skills they need to be successful. Our team of experts can help you with all aspects of parenting, including toilet training and teaching your child how to dress themselves. We can also assist with sleep training and managing your child’s emotions. Whatever your goals are for your child, we’re here to provide the support you need.
We are here to help you and teach you the skills you need to handle life with autism. Our services help you and your child succeed and achieve your goals.
